School In Royesville

Daniels-Adams School of Excellence

Universal Outreach Foundation visited war torn Liberia in 2006 to better understand the rebuilding process this country was about to under take. This trip enabled us to see for ourselves the devastation that this fourteen year war created. The entire country’s infrastructure was destroyed leaving Liberia crippled. Dilapidated school buildings could be seen everywhere we traveled and we knew this meant children weren’t in school.

When the African Methodist Episcipal Church invited UOF to come back to Liberia help rebuild schools, we clearly knew how great the need was. Between 2007 and 2010 UOF rebuilt and added on to the Daniels-Adams School of Excellence (DASE) in Royesville, Montserrado County. DASE opened its junior elementary school in 2009 while the construction continued in other areas of the campus to accommodate more grades.

The Daniels-Adams School of Excellence has now been serving the community of Royesville for five years. The 275-acre campus is home to four school buildings, administration offices, accommodation for staff, a library, gardens, and a palm and coconut plantation. Currently the school offers pre-kindergarten to grade six and will expand, as the community demands a higher level of education.
